Lesley touched so many with her warmth and kindness.  Despite her own troubles, she always had time to be a friend and help those who needed her.  Her strength will remain an inspiration to us all.  Never one to fuss or complain, even at the worst of times and the greatest of her pain, her grace and stoicism never faltered. 

Lesley was the embodiment of strength over adversity.  Three years ago, Lesley was given a 1% chance of survival while in Critical Care in Nottingham hospital, yet, through three tours of that unit she regained her strength, proving that her determination to live to see her son, Joe grow into a man, would triumph over the worst of odds.

A wonderful Mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.  Her time with us may have be less than we would have all wished but certainly all of our lives are the richer for having known her.

Love is stronger than death even though it cannot stop death from happening.

But no matter how hard death tries it cannot separate people from love.

It cannot take away our memories either.

In the end, love is stronger than death.
